Glyphosate Testing
As a full-service analytical laboratory, Great Plains Analytical Laboratory is committed to providing our clients with services designed to adhere to the latest developments in food safety and quality regulations. Due to the recent revelations in the agriculture industry, Great Plains Analytical Laboratory is pleased to now offer an alternative methodology to the LC MS/MS method using ELISA technology for Glyphosate detection. The method we use has been shown to be statistically the same as popular chromatography method, with similar relative standard deviations and variance. This service is designed to provide a quick, accurate, and cost-effective method to identify levels of this herbicide in raw or finished product.
We will continue to offer the LC/MS MS methodology as well.

ELISA assay
1-6 Samples – $160
> 6 Samples – $80
Test | Method | Units | Detection Limit | TAT |
---|---|---|---|---|
Glyphosate | ELISA | ppm | 0.0075 | 5 Days |
Pesticide Screen 11
Pesticide Screen 11 provides both glyphosate and AMPA. AMPA is Aminomethylphosphonic acid, one of the primary degradation products of glyphosate. It has a toxicity comparable to that of glyphosate and is, therefore, considered to be of similar toxicological concern.
Pesticide Screen 11 – $250.00
Test | Method | Units | Detection Limit | TAT |
---|---|---|---|---|
Glyphosate | USDA R33A (LC/MS MS) | ppm | 0.01 | 7 days |
