Crop Survey
Great Plains Analytical Laboratory is well known for the extensive, multi-class wheat crop surveys performed for our subscribers. The laboratory tests the Hard Red Winter wheat, Soft Red Winter wheat, and Hard Red Spring wheat crop areas. See the links below for maps of each area.
Thousands of tests are performed over a 20-state area, evaluating wheat and flour quality. For the astute merchandiser, miller, importer or exporter, this information is invaluable. The crop surveys reports begin as the crop harvest begins. The information is posted daily on our website until the conclusion of harvest. Continually, the crop surveys are updated with statistical information about the harvest as it progresses, and the crop surveys provide more quality information about the domestic wheat supply than can be found anywhere else.
